Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Stridetail ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you use Stridetail on behalf of a business, you accept them for that business and confirm you are allowed to do so.
2. The service
Stridetail is software for running a pet-care business: scheduling, GPS-tracked visits, client and pet records, visit reports, invoicing, and payout statements. We may add, change, or remove features as the product develops.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for everything done under your account. Keep your login information private and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
4. Your content and your clients' data
- Client records, pet profiles, photos, access codes, and notes that you enter belong to you (or to your clients). You give us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content in order to provide the service.
- You confirm you have the right to enter the information you store in Stridetail — including your clients' contact details, home access codes, and email addresses used for report and invoice delivery.
- We handle this data as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it.
5. Payments between you and your clients
Stridetail records invoices, deposits, and payments; it does not process payments. Money moves directly between you and your clients on methods you choose (for example Venmo or Zelle). We are not a party to those transactions and are not responsible for collecting, refunding, or disputing them.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't use the service to break the law or to harm others.
- Don't try to access another business's data or probe the service's security.
- Don't resell or white-label Stridetail itself without a written agreement with us.
7. Your business is your business
Stridetail is a tool, not a party to your pet-care services. You are solely responsible for the care you provide, your agreements with clients and contractors, your pricing, your insurance, and your compliance with local laws.
8. Availability and early access
Stridetail is under active development. We work to keep the service reliable — including offline-first visit recording — but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and early-access features may change or be withdrawn.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. GPS data depends on device hardware and conditions and may be imprecise.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Stridetail is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
You can stop using Stridetail and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On deletion, we remove your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
